We’ve put together a list of fun & family-friendly activities to keep your family busy this holiday season. In our 2016 Quad City Holiday Event Guide, you’ll find Festive Events, Santa Sightings, Parades, Choreographed Light Shows, Christmas Tree Farms, The Best QCA Sledding Hills, and Skiing Slopes. There’s a little bit of everything to entertain the whole family and make some holiday cheer!

FESTIVAL OF TREES

FEATURES: Festival of Trees has attractions for the entire family! Guests can enjoy browsing the beautiful holiday displays designed by talented local designers, shopping for a present in our Tinsel Treasures Gift Shop, watching performances by local dance groups on CenterStage, listening to a story by the Book Tree, visiting Santa in the North Pole children’s activity center or stopping by the TreatShoppe to have a tasty treat. LIGHTING ON THE COMMONS

FEATURES: The Lighting on the John Deere Commons is a free annual community event that kicks off the holiday season with attractions that include Santa & Mrs. Claus, tractor-drawn wagon rides, live music featuring the Moline Boys Choir and Community Outreach, a children’s craft area and of course, the famous Lighting Ceremony and Fireworks. Cider, and Hot Cocoa will be available to all guests between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

TEDDY BEAR TEA

FEATURES: Back by popular demand, children are invited to bring their favorite plush animal to a Teddy Bear Tea in the festively decorated Gold Room at Hotel Blackhawk, Davenport.  Children will enjoy a special tea experience with hot chocolate, cookie decorating and assorted mini sandwiches, while they are entertained and engaged with a lively holiday show.
