If you take a toddler camping, be sure to overpack. They’ll probably need the 100 diapers, 3 boxes of crackers, and a gallon of milk for the 2 day trip. (or not)
If you take a toddler camping, they’re going to get dirty. So, you will want to overpack on the clothes and loads of wipes. There will be dirt on their knees, under their fingernails, and definitely in their diaper.
If you take a toddler camping, there will be meltdowns. Meltdown because you won’t let them touch the fire, meltdown because they want to eat grass, and multiple meltdowns because they don’t want to sleep.

You will feel good that you all got to spend a weekend outdoors realizing that this is how you would spend a million more weekends.
