Geneseo Christmas Walk

Dec 9th

Children’s activities fill the afternoon with special crafts, face painting, writing letters to Santa making reindeer food, and much more. Children’s choirs will also be featured at various times throughtout the afternoon. As the Sun goes down the night heats up with the Walk’s ever-growing lighted parade at 5 p.m. People line the streets as music and twinkling lights fill the evening air. Numerous floats, marching musicians, and animal parade southward down State Street into the downtown district.

The Nutcracker- Quad Cities Ballet

This well-known Holiday Classic choreographed by Artistic Director Courtney Lyon comes to life in Ballet Quad Cities’ own enchanting production. Lavish costumes and magnificent scenery blend with beautiful choreography to create the most delightful fantasy ever. With live music provided by Orchestra Iowa, this is one holiday production that you won’t want to miss

Polar Express Holiday Workshop

Dec 12th

This family event is a great opportunity to enjoy the splendor of the Polar Express themed holiday floral display while creating holiday ornaments and gifts! Materials and instruction for craft projects suitable to different skill levels will be provided along with some holiday cheer! Come during the day or afterdark to take in the beautiful lights.

Polar Express Pajama Party

Dec 14-17

Families of all ages can expect tons of fun while attending a Polar Express Pajama Party. Along with the showing of The Polar Express 3D on our GIANT Screen in your pj’s there will be the following holiday activities: face painting, a hot chocolate station, a make-n-take sleigh bell station, holiday tic-tac-toe, a souvenir Putnam ornament and a lights-out adventure through the museum exhibits. Dec 14th – Dec 17th.

Supper with Santa

Dec 15th

Join us for an evening with your favorite man in the red suit! Bring your wish list and take a picture with Santa after dinner (parents remember to brin gyour cameras, we will not be taking Santa photos). We will have pizza, provided by Moline Happy Joe’s, refreshments and more!
