How Far Along: 20 weeks
How are you Feeling: I feel great! My energy is back and I’m not big enough (yet) where I’m uncomfortable or have difficulty doing anything I normally would.
Do you know if it is a boy or girl? This is our third girl. She didn’t cooperate at our routine 20 week ultrasound so we had an “elective gender ultrasound” done in the Chicago area while there visiting friends. We are so excited to be welcoming another girl into our family.
Do you have any cravings/aversions? Nothing out of the ordinary. I craved crab legs and avocados towards the beginning of my pregnancy and, with all of my girls, I’ve had chicken issues during the first trimester.
How are you sleeping? We joke that I haven’t slept through the night in well over 3 years as is, so I do feel like I’m sleeping well. Between my 3 year-old and 1 year-old, it’s rare that I am not up at least once, but I can’t blame any of that on this baby! I know leg cramps and frequent bathroom trips await, so I am enjoying this while I can.
What is one part of pregnancy that you are loving/and disliking? I absolutely love feeling the baby move around – probably even more than I did with my first two girls. Knowing this is our last makes it extra special. I dislike that I was put on “high impact” restrictions during my first trimester due to bleeding and I had to stop running. I am already planning my racing schedule for post-baby so I can get back into my normal routine.
We will be checking back in with Abbie at her 30 week mark!
