Find out how you connect to the ocean’s wild, sometimes curious inhabitants and how humans shape their underwater ecosystem at the Putnam Museum. Explorers (Grades 2-5) and Explorers Jr. (Pre-K through first grade) will meet the Putnam’s resident hermit crab, learn about light and pressure in the ocean and find out how they can protect creatures throughout the seas.

The academy will focus on the performance of the tricks, and the acting skills required. Practice makes perfect, so those who have taken this class in the past are encouraged take it again.Magician’s Academy teaches the basics of magic for ages 10 – 16.
The Family Museum will open its doors after hours for an exclusive event for families with children who have special needs. To keep crowds to a minimum, tickets will be limited to the first 100 participants. Tickets are available at the Family Museum. Tickets are free, but you must have a ticket to enter.

Coming to Circa 21 Playhouse. When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just 24 hours before Mom’s big wedding to put things right again. Freaky Friday, a new musical comedy based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a hilarious, contemporary update of the classic story, in which a mother and daughter see what it means to be a family while experiencing each other’s lives firsthand, if only for a day.
