** DON’T MISS THE GIVEAWAY TO CHEF BATTLE ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE TODAY **
We are lucky to live in a community with lots of great local restaurants. I love trying new restaurants around the Quad Cities, and my husband and I often pick a “new to us” place to try on date nights.
Of course, being the deal seeker that I am, it’s even better if the restaurant has some kind of promotion or coupon to save us money, which is why I’m so excited for Quad Cities Restaurant Week!
The Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau’s 6th annual Quad Cities Restaurant Week takes place from February 26 to March 4, with restaurant deals from over 30 local restaurants. It began as a way to increase business for local restaurants, giving customers the opportunity to try a new place, or go to an old favorite, with some special deals.
Restaurants offer $7-10 lunches and $15-$30 multi-course dinners. Participating restaurants are listed here and restaurants will be adding their meal options in coming days. All you have to do is mention the special “Restaurant Week” promotion to your server.
Last year for restaurant week, we went to Thunder Bay Grille and had a really tasty multi-course dinner for a great price. We don’t often go to Thunder Bay Grille, so when I saw the promotion, I knew it was time to head back there again. I’m excited to look for a new restaurant and new meal option to try this year.
Even better, this year, to kick off Quad Cities Restaurant Week, Chef Battle, presented by Social Power Hour launches its first Quad Cities live cooking competition
