We are so excited about our third annual QC-area BLOOM event for new/expecting mommas. This is one of over 50 events happening across the country – and we have a lot of really special surprises up our sleeves. We can’t wait to connect with you!

This is event is unlike anything else in the Quad Cities – and that means we have had some questions along the way. Here are some quick details!

Can I buy a ticket that night?

You can not buy a ticket to bloom at the door – this allows us to plan effectively. And we are close to selling out online – so grab your ticket ASAP before it’s too late.

What does my ticket include?

Trust us – you’ll have tons of great perks with that ticket. It includes:

  • food and drink – including yummy appetizers courtesy of The Group and an ice cream bar courtesy of Country Style
  • swag bags – which are jam packed with all the must-haves you need
  • incredible giveaways
  • product demos of strollers, baby carriers, and other baby items
  • shopping specials (including deals only available to Bloom attendees)
  • pampering from the new spa Revive inside The Group
  • Q&A session with healthcare experts
  • make-and-take crafts from The Group and Cornerstone Family Dentistry (including teething necklaces and appliquéd burp cloths)
  • loads and loads of fun

What will the event be like?

This event is really intended to connect new and expecting moms. Whether you have several kids or are expecting your first, you’ll have a chance to meet other moms, eat and drink, learn from local experts, shop and be pampered.

It’s going to be an amazing evening we hope you won’t soon forget.

Is everything free?

Thanks to our Gold Sponsor Ruth Ahnen at Modern Woodmen of America, and other sponsors, there will be plenty of perks and freebies at this event – from food and drink to giveaways to pampering and photos.

Where is it?

The Bloom event will take place inside The Group Obstetrics and Gynecology. The address is 5350 Eastern Avenue, Davenport. The office will be closed and transformed into a special event space!

What about parking?

There is lots of parking right at The Group. If the lot is full, feel free to park on the street or across Eastern Avenue. 

Can I bring my kids?

This is really an event for moms – no activities or childcare will be provided. Nursing babies in carriers or slings are welcome. Due to the set up of our space, strollers are not permitted.

What about my spouse?

This event is definitely designed for moms – but if interested, your husband or partners are also welcome to attend. We just ask that each guest purchase a ticket in advance.

What will people be wearing?

Most people leave their yoga pants at home, but you can wear anything you feel comfortable in. Consider this a fun girls’ night out. You’ll see everything from jeans and leggings to dresses – so don’t stress and wear something you love!

Will there be food?

The Group will provide hearty appetizers and Country Style will provide ice cream treats.

Can I still sign up?

Yes – Tickets will be available until they sell out!

Do I need to print my ticket?

You won’t need to print your ticket. If you’ve purchased a ticket from Eventbrite, your name and name tag will be on the list at the welcome table. (If you give your ticket to someone else, please make sure to contact us ahead of time to update name tags at [email protected])
