A LOCAL GIFT GUIDE FOR THE NEW MOMMA THIS MOTHER’S DAY

Do you know a new momma or an expecting mom? She deserves a little something special this Mother’s Day, don’t you think?

Lucky for us, we have so many wonderful Mother’s Day gifts that can be purchased locally. It’s not too late to get the best gift (or two) for momma! And it’s not too late to support local businesses while you’re at it.

At our Bloom event last week, 150 local mommas got to check out some of these items first-hand. (Look for photos of the event coming soon.) But if you are at a loss of what to get for the awesome new mom or mom-to-be in your life, here are a few ideas we love.

The “Best Mom Ever” title

Charm Boutique has these awesome good hYOUman “best mom ever” tees and ball caps! They are the definition of “Mother’s Day” and would make the PERFECT gift!

The diaper bag

This is our very favorite diaper bag – a practical and adorable backpack version that carries all the supplies in style. From baby to toddler – or just for mom. It’s got it all – tons of pockets, adjustable straps for backpack or over the body, stroller hooks and even magnets.

The tee

Sometimes, moms just need a cute tee to brighten their day. We love this “mom life” version – perfect with leggings or jeans. And a little spit-up won’t hurt it, either.

The photos

Do you know who never seems to be in photos? Mom. Because she’s taking photos of everyone else. Surprise her with a family session from Giraffe and she’ll have beautiful photos for years to come.

The sewing kit

If momma is a crafter, she’ll love this awesome sewing kit to keep all her notions together. Cute and practical.

The carrier

We think every new momma needs a hands-free way to carry baby. We love the Tula Free-to-Grow because it grows with baby from infant to early toddlerhood. (And the pattern is great for mom or dad.)

The burp cloths

Look – new mommas are gonna deal with spit up. A lot of spit up. So you may as well have adorable and soft burp cloths on-hand at all time. We love the woodland animals on this set

The new look

Lots of moms put off taking care of themselves in the chaos of motherhood. Give mom a few hours off – and a gift certificate for a new ‘do from Pure. They always make us feel our best.

The massage

If anyone needs an hour of silence – it’s a mom. Add a massage from Nelson and you’ll basically be a hero.
